If you have an individual assisting your with your rental payments and/or you'd like to add a co-signer to strengthen your application, here's how.
Co-signers are a great way to strengthen an application should you have an eviction history or your credit or income not meet expectation.
From your application, about midway down the right column are a list of sections to complete, one of which is to add the option of a cosigner.

This list is made of live links to complete the respective application sections. Start by selecting the word 'Co-signer' which will lead you to the following option of selecting yes or no.
Once you have selected "Yes, I have a co-signer" the following window will appear to provide their first and last name and their email address. Be sure to provide your co-signer's legal full first and last name as this information will be used to order their report. Example: If your co-signer's name is Joe Smith, but their legal name is Joseph, you will need to input Joseph Smith. After inputting their name and email click "Continue to payment".
To add a co-signer there is a $14 fee to obtain their credit report. Unlike co-occupants, only a credit report is needed rather than a full consumer report ($39) which would provide eviction and criminal histories as well. Input your payment information and click "Submit" for an emailed co-signer invite to be sent to your co-signer. They'll need to open the link from the email invite sent to them and confirm their acceptance to co-sign.
