How do showings work with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic?

Here is a review of the precautions Ikos takes and what you should know before touring in person.

As an alternative to in person showings, we are happy to arrange live video tours via Google Hangouts. In fact, we encourage renters to make this selection upon requesting a showing.

Ikos is fully committed to maintaining the health and safety of our team members, renters looking for a home as well as any tenant(s) still occupying the property.

In light of present circumstances, we are following all recommendations by the CDC. For unoccupied properties/units, one person can accompany a touring renter - two people total including the Ikos showing rep. For tenant occupied properties/units only one person will be able to tour in person as we strive to have no more than two persons total sharing a space. You are welcome to arrange independently a video call with housemates, friends, partners and/or family to "accompany" you virtually on your showing.

We require everyone's contact information and full name so we can reach out to those whom have come in contact with our showing rep and listing's occupying tenants should they report having symptoms after the showing. We also ask that you let us know if you show symptoms within the 14 days following your showing so we can notify our showing rep and the occupying tenant(s). Should this occur, we'll be sure to reach out to all who'd attended the showing.

All those on the tour must wear a mask and confirm they have not had any COVID 19 symptoms for the past ten days prior to the showing date. It is recommended everyone wear gloves as well, but not required. Our showing rep will be fully protected with a face-mask and gloves. It is our priority to keep everyone healthy throughout this time.

Depending on current city, state and federal restrictions we may be limited to only accommodate live video tours or "open door" in person showings for approved applicants in which our showing rep is instructed to remain outside.
